The True Color RGB composite provides a product of how the surface would look to the naked eye from space. The RGB is created using the red, green, and blue channels of the respective instrument.

The panchromatic images are a single band image (similar to a red, green, or blue band) from the panchromatic band (band 8). The panchromatic band provides a sharper image than the other bands due to its higher spatial resolution (1m). This image is best used for refining details seen in both the natural and true color RGBs.

Suggested Use:

True Color RGB: provides a product of how the surface would look to the naked eye from space. The RGB is created using the red, green, and blue channels of the respective instrument.

Panchromatic: Surface features such as water, roads, and buildings can be identified. Cloudy areas are seen in bright white. Provides higher resolution
